sad news of little black dog
The horrible little black dog's heart has failed, and she was buried in the garden tonight. She was 14 and grey as a badger. Youngest son's philosophical observation "it was her time, I can't be sad". We are though.
All a bit difficult, clearing her feed bowls, washing her bed, hanging up the lead, son saving collar tag in his memory box. Cats delighted to have unchallenged access to kitchen. Said good morning to the little mound in the garden but feeling a bit girly and teary today.
No autopsy, even for such a big star of stage and screen. Sdly evidence of heart valve giving up plain to see. Be interesting to hear exactly what happened to the saddo child exploiter aka Jakko...

Oh No, I'm really sorry to read this. Just glad I got a good picture of her for you, she seemed so well when we saw her a few weeks ago..
Are you going down the Jackson route and having two autopsies?
