Sorry I don't understand the finer points of the equine world, however i take it that isn't good news?

its expensive, more than bad. These things happen, but when to call the very expensive vet in is the decision. Wait - and maybe get worse, hurry and maybe waste vast sums on vet fees. I am from the wait and see school, farrier coming next week, he might have an idea, but it means looking at stupid horse standing in field, eating head off, feeling guilty every day haven't sent for vet. Its like troublesome motherboard in computer, or big end going in car maybe. Also, can't use horse if he's limping about, (people disapprove of that sort of thing)and without diagnosis all I can do is worry....best stay away from all things with 4 legs really
