Life. Down on the farm. Quarterhorse pilot, cocker spaniel servant and goldfish keeper. Oh, and the fun of being a (very) mature Art student with two University student sons. A laugh a minute.... art for sale

nearly time for lodgers to fly off
The pups at 11 days (yesterday). The mess left underneath the nest inthe front porch, and, of course, the makers of the mess! Surely they will depart any day now? Their parents are working overtime to feed these monsters. Frankly, I think they are just sitting here in a crowd enjoying the easy life, and not working to feed themselves. Teenagers everywhere the same it seems!

aww, the poor mum looks tired, and not a little shocked that she has no privacy from humans with whirring boxes and flashing lights in front of their faces.
Egads, what a mess! no wonder you're eager for the young'uns to be gone. One difference-these parents don't have to clean up after their kids-you do!
but on the whole, it has been worth a bit of poop scooping. The birds work so hard, and we are sure that these youngsters are bit enough to go!
be sure to post when they fly the coop!
