Life. Down on the farm. Quarterhorse pilot, cocker spaniel servant and goldfish keeper. Oh, and the fun of being a (very) mature Art student with two University student sons. A laugh a minute.... art for sale

pupdate
At 3 1/2 weeks old one of the boy pups has secured a new home with a Nottinghamshire fireman, his wife and son. Coming to collect on 1st September. Just three more to go. Big boy off to Scotland Saturday & Sunday to try and secure accommodation for his sojourn north of the border. Difficult to do from Lincolnshire. Fingers crossed that something is suitable. Next Tuesday will find us all visiting Buckingham Palace public rooms and Victoria and Albert's private art collection! Have had the tickets for MONTHS and the day is nearly here. Logistically, something of a mammoth operation to get us all to the big city for 11am, and then undertake a full days outing. Must be feeling old, there was a time when I wouldn't have blinked at all the effort!

Mrs B here masquerading as BlackLOG - just wish I could have one of those adorable pups! They're very brown aren't they - will markings develop?
More importantly, to ease your logistical pain next Tuesday, you are all very welcome to come here for Monday evening and stay over. At least I might get to see you then!
ooh, remember to take your camera to the palace! I don't know if taking photos is allowed, but if so, I wanna see some!
Oh, you are kind BUT we can't leave the wretched dogs for that long!!!! Mum eating about every 2 hours, and pups - just a nightmare of care! They will be locked in their shed at 6am, with a stack of food, someone coming at midday to let the big girls out for 'personal hygiene', then we expect to be home about 9pm. Not ideal, but we think its probably the best solution. BUT THANKS!!! The pups will stay chocolate, same as their dad, they have odd white markings around noses, toes and chests. This will be our last family day out before our sons fly the nest!!! Oh, its hurting already
And Janet, I am sorry to advise that visitors are definately NOT permitted to take photos in Buck Palace. I have quite a lush book though that I would be happy to post to you? Its the Visitor Guide for the day. We are all excited about our Palace day, but I think we shall also be absolutely worn out!
