Life. Down on the farm. Quarterhorse pilot, cocker spaniel servant and goldfish keeper. Oh, and the fun of being a (very) mature Art student with two University student sons. A laugh a minute.... art for sale

a naughty thing
an imp of mischief has arrived in this locality, and is putting up a small, brave fight as a lone voice in favour of wind turbine technology, on the basis that we have to start somewhere, and nuclear is a bit scary. I wonder who it can be?

Hmmm. I'll check the local planning applications. They usually put up a survey mast to measure the wind conditions before erecting the turbine(s).
Big off-shore one by Lincs/The Wash already from what I've seen. Further inland, have you seen the ones near Mansfied on the A617 - they look scary!
anonometer (or similar spelling!) just gone in. Neighbours in uproar. Ha.
I've read about wind farms-apparently they're very noisy. Hope one isn't coming soon near you!
